We celebrate and promote the Bayelsan food.
The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people. Promoting our culture keeps us rooted.

Event Format
Every year, the Bayelsa Food & Art Festival features at least 30 or more vendors including professional chefs. The event spans between 3 to five days and features side attractions such as music, comedy, creative food show, street food competition, celebrity cooking competition, food parade, eating and drinking competition, dance competition, and the star attraction of the festival.
Participating vendors and chefs are assigned to different spots at the festival venue from where they are expected to prepare and display some of their most creative and signature dishes. All spots have a sitting area where guests can briefly sit and have an experience of what the vendor/chef has to offer. As part of creating awareness for the festival, the organizing team leads the Street Food Competitions in selected areas of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital days before the start of the festival.
For complete inclusivity, the festival has special stands for each of the eight local government areas in Bayelsa state to represent and promote their local signature delicacies cum cultural heritage.
